Radio network
Satellite Center is the Home of the “Saints Radio Network”. We uplink the Saints and other college football broadcasts right from our 5.0m Uplink at our facility. The uplink utilizes Wegener Digital Audio Encoders and Digital Modulators to provide CD quality stereo sound to all downlink radio stations across Louisiana and Mississippi. We uplink in C-band on AMC-8 at 139 degrees West. AMC-8 is the most popular Radio satellite in the US and coverage is excellent across the US.
We have our own 24/7 transponder and currently have time slots open to carry your radio show, sports event, morning show, or news network to any of the stations in our list. We also have about 150 additional Digital Satellite Receivers waiting in our inventory to be shipped out. We can add the coverage you need at no additional monthly cost to you.
Air time Cost is much cheaper than you think and probably cheaper than you are paying now. We currently have ISDN access to the network via Telos Zephyr ISDN units. Below is a list of the stations that have our receivers and are currently receiving audio from us. All you need to do is dial in and you are out on our network.
